Russian Tsar Alexander III (the great reformer, beloved by his people) was IRL assassinated in 1881 at the age of 62. The throne went to his reactionary son Alexander II, whom everyone hated. In our timeline, Alexander II is not assassinated, rather his son that everyone hates is killed instead, and the great reformer lives another 10 years until he dies of old age (aged 72, 1891).Throne goes to Grand Duke Vladimir Alexandrovich, who dies in 1909 of natural causes. The throne then goes to Kirill Vladimirovich.
