December 25, 1900: The events in the Imperial Palace on Christmas were to change history. Upon awakening, Czar Vladimir was immediately told of the Ottoman refusal and fell over laughing. He barely managed to give orders for mobilization before continuing to laugh.

January 2, 1901:
Japan announces it's alliance with Antara in light of the Russian aggression against the Ottomans, due too Japan's already somewhat unstable relations with them. If need be, Antara will go to war with Japan against any potential enemies, but for now, both countries have agreed to help each other out financially, technologically and militarily.

January 5, 1901: Black Sea Fleet mobilized. Battleships are constantly raiding Ottoman shore, devastating cities and ports. Most of battles between fleets are minor and undeceisive. In order to totally blockade Turks, Bosphorus must be controlled by Russians.

The new Brazilian Imperialist government announces it will remain neutral. Brazil does, however, send observers to watch battles and tactics. Brazilian Emperor Carlos pays a state visit to Czar Vladimir in Moscow, and proposes plans for economic cooperation in the future.

Antaran ambassador Aden Cabrello visited Moscow in an attempt to reach for a peaceful resolution to the war against the Ottomans, arguing both parties where in the wrong. Ambassador Cabrello slammed the Russians for their brash and thoughtless attack, then bashing the Ottomans for the obvious act of aggression, his bashing finally seized when he denounced the Brazilian Emperor's attempt at supporting the Russians in light of the attack.
